Village Defibrillator

The village defibrillator is located on the Village Hall side wall, near the garage.  There is no lock or code – it can be used by anyone when it is needed.  It was provided for the village by Trellech United Community Council. It is a Zoll AED Plus model and is straightforward to use – instructions are given automatically during use and it will only work if the patient needs it.

Raglan Dairy

Doorstep deliveries of milk and a variety of dairy products and juices are available from Raglan Dairies on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  Contact James on 07540 658152 or raglandairy@gmail.com

Public Transport

Discount Oil Buying Group
During 2021 83,800 litres of oil were purchased by the Group – the largest amount in 5 years. A total of £2083.80 was saved by the group, which amounts to an average saving of £59.54 per person (or £12.43 per 500 litres) and £280 was raised for the Village Hall. Membership of the Discount Oil Buying Group costs just £8 a year, details here.

100 Club

The Narth and District Village Hall 100 Club is a private lottery which is open to all residents from The Narth, Maryland and Pen y fan and the surrounding area, their family and friends. For £12 per year each member will be allocated a number which is entered into a monthly draw with fellow members. Members can purchase more than 1 number to increase their chances. Prize fund is 75% of total subscriptions each month. 25% of total monthly subscriptions is donated to The Narth & District Village Hall. The 100 Club paid out over £600 in prize money in the year from October 2022, raising more than £200 for the Hall.

•  1st prize is 50% of the prize fund (e.g. £50 if there are 100 members)
•  2nd prize is 25% of the prize fund (e.g. £25 if there are 100 members)

Winners names will be published on this website. Entrants must be over 16 years of age. Members can join during the subscription year on a pro-rata basis (£1 per month per number).
