Getting to Know the Trees of Manor Wood
A village walk on Sunday 7th July, starting at 2pm at The Narth Village Hall
The next event from The Life of Manor Wood project is a social walk through the wood, finding out more about the trees from our local experts. We’ll take a circular route of 2-2½ miles at a relaxed pace, with stops to identify and learn more about the many species to be found there and how the current diversity came about.
We will gather at 1.50pm for a 2pm start from the Village Hall and finish with afternoon tea in the hall at around 4.30pm. There’s no charge, but we do appreciate donations towards the project.
Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing, and a walking pole may be helpful on some of the slopes and stepping stones. Dogs are welcome provided they are well behaved and kept on a short lead.
If you plan to come, please let us know: contact Marilyn Dunkelman 01600 860031 / 07770 957963 or email thelifeofmanorwood@gmail.com
